Conversation Club 영어영문학과/동아리 활동2010/03/02 17:59
Hi!
Today was the first day of classes and I was very happy to see students again. I met a few in the English department office and some visited my office on the fifth floor. Some of you look the same (great), some of you have new hairstyles (also great), and at least one of you is looking very good in an ROTC uniform.
I am writing this post to advertise the Conversation club that we have on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00. If you have time, you can come to our meetings and practise your English speaking. If you are shy, don't worry! You can just listen until you feel more confident. If you are interested, please contact me. The meetings will begin next week because I have to arrange a classroom for our meetings.

Today marks the end of two things. One, the winter vacation has ended and tomorrow we will all be in class. I will be happy to see all of you but I have a lot of work to do. That's okay because it is enjoyable work. Two, as I write this, I am drinking the last packet of instant milk tea I bought in Malaysia. My wife and I stayed in an expensive hotel in Malacca because the cheap hotels there were awful and there were almost no rooms available anywhere because of a large convention in town. The information for this costly hotel said they had free tea and coffee but there was only coffee in the room. When I called the front desk to ask for tea they said they don't put tea in the rooms. I was irritated but couldn't do anything about it so I went to a corner store and bought some instant milk tea. I couldn't drink it all before we left Malaysia so I brought it back to Korea with me. Today I opened the last pack and felt that my trip to Malaysia had ended again.
